JBL LSR2325P Two-Way 5
The LSR2325P Bi-Amplified Studio Monitor is featured for a wide range of applications. The LSR2325P includes a long-excursion 5" woofer and 1" silk substrate dome tweeter and 90 watts of amplification. Balanced XLR, balanced 1/4" TRS, and RCA unbalanced input connectors allow connection of mixing consoles, computer audio interfaces, audio visual equipment, and home audio systems. A detented level control allows fine adjustment of speaker volume. Low and high frequency trim controls let you tailor the speaker's response to preference or room acoustics. A neoprene rubber pad on the bottom of the speaker provides acoustic isolation and increases stability when the speaker is placed on a speaker stand or a console top. Mounting points are included and the enclosure has been reinforced for safe mounting using industry-standard mounting hardware. Rather than using a single on-axis measurement of the speaker's performance, JBL's LSR design criteria requires seventy measurements yielding more than 1,200 times the data, enabling JBL to engineer a speaker that sounds right and is accurate in any room. A trademark of LSR Design is the custom tweeter waveguide that delivers superior imaging and smoother frequency response to your listening position. Today's production styles require a monitor system capable of extended low frequency performance. To address this, the LSR2325P uses a new long-excursion 5" woofer with a high-flux motor. A custom-tuned port works in concert with the woofer to produce deep and accurate low frequency response to 43Hz. The LSR2325P produces exceptional sound pressure level (SPL) through JBL-engineered high-sensitivity transducers, high-output amplifiers and careful attention paid to the thermal properties of the system. To ensure years of reliable performance, before becoming a production-ready design, the LSR2325P survives the JBL Power Test in which the speaker must play continuously at full output for 100 hours without failure.

Warm and Articulate Sound for Your Computer
My first set of powered studio monitors for my computer were a pair of M-Audio BX-5's. Very good sound from those but they died on me after 8 years.

The JBL's are far better. Very warm and articulate. They make Youtube videos sound good! They are perfect for my iMac and iTunes and can play low and slow or really crank. Bass response is suprisingly good. I cannot imagine needing a subwoofer for my application. They do need to be elevated off of the desk a few inches to reduce muddiness--a couple of books work fine. Would definately buy again.

Well done JBL!
I've been listening to music from Queen to Bach Cello suites through a Macbook Pro using iTunes loss-less and Amarra MINI software into an Arcam rDAC. I think these monitors are absolutely amazing.

I bought these to be used with my computer at my office to replace the cheap ones that came with the Dell computer. They are way above that task. They are detailed, articulate and with a good recording they're easy to listen to for hours with any type of music.

I don't mix; I just listen to music. I bought JBL's because their research department is second to none in the world and It made sense to me that the way to hear music as intended is through monitors like the studios use and a lot of them use JBLs. I've often heard people say that speakers are a just matter of taste. I completely disagree. If a speaker is perfect it would sound exactly the same as the source material to everybody regardless of their preferences. That simply defines "perfect" for me...
Amazing!
I bought these as powered computer speakers. I did allot of research on what to get. I trolled all the audiophile sites looking for good computer speakers. After weeks of looking I jumped on these. I get these are monitor speakers, but they are powered and for a computer setup that is ideal. I was upgrading from a pair of M-Audio Studiophile CX5's. There is just no comparison. I was able to pick these up as a pair for $358 on an Amazon sale. I also purchased the HOSA STEREO 3.5mm - TWO XLR. I have an Asus Xonar sound card. The speakers are beyond what I expected. I have them set no where near maximum volume and they seriously fill the room (almost house) with crisp highs and deep bass. So yeah, aside from that, I have had numerous friends come over and I have showed them my setup. Each and everyone of them was looking for a sub. I do not have one yet, but they all just could not believe it. I gave up using my Seinhauser 600's (would trade off between them and the...
