Solid Speakers
I have purchased speakers in the past that claim certain parameters on quality and these are definitely Sound Speakers. I bridged the Phonics 885 and fed it with my Yamaha Mixer for Maximum potential and the Speakers Stood their ground on Solid Sound. These are some Very Nice Speakers, and they are very light. My Son took one to Best buy to get an amp for it. I gave him one and I kept one. He was looking for his Speaker for his Car. He had the Guys at the Pro Sound Shop try to make it go BOOM as he calls it, and they hooked their largest Amp to it from off the shelf and not only did the Speaker Handle it, the full Range of the Speaker was Precisely Clear not only getting loud, from across the busy Interstate heard Crystal Clear Sound at a Range of 1/8 mile away. These speakers at the cost far out perform what you think it would. These are truly LOUD and Crystal Clear sounding Speakers. Im using these as my Standard Speaker for my Studio.

For the price you cant complain!
The speakers work fairly well, they get loud! Not very deep bass however, this seems to be from the short bass ports. I did have to EQ them, the highs over powered the mid and lower frequencys. But after an EQ the bass is a bit better but not much and highs arent as crazy. Again they get VERY LOUD just for the mid and highs, and higher end bass. The low stuff however id recommend a sub. I believe these could do it given a better crossover and ports. Might be a project someday, these deffinately have potential though, and are well worth the $160! Might see about getting more aswell as long as some are in stock in the future!
Awesome sound
Very clear and loud. I was amazed at the sound quality for such an affordable price. The only negative I could find was the lack of punch these speakers have. However, I hooked up a subwoofer and the problem was solved. I gave 4 stars because of that, but sound quality gets 5 stars.
