The best bass cab I've ever used!
I'm writing this review objectively and out of my own freewill. SAS is not paying me to say this.
I purchased this bass cabinet one year ago from Seismic Audio, and I've used it at every gig that I play. I was the bassist in Off The Railz, a Long Island based Ozzy/Sabbath tribute, and I'm currently the bassist/keyboardist in Snakes & Arrows, a tribute to the music of Rush ([...]). For both bands, this cabinet gave me a monster sound and a clean tone. It's light, can fit into any car, and doesn't take up a lot of space on stage. I've used it at bars and clubs, and every time I've used it, it's never disappointed.
To my fellow musicians out there - just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's of high quality. Just because it's INexpensive, it doesn't mean it's something to scoff at. I've heard bassists on youtube.com with the cabinets, and I was impressed by the quality of the tone. I bought it and was more than satisfied. Now I swear by Seismic Audio...

Seismic 4x8 ROCKS!
I bought this cabinet because I wanted something small and didn't want to spend a lot of money. I got much more than I bargained for!!! I took this cab out to a gig in a small club and drove it with my Euphonic Audio iAmp Pro (700 digi-watts @ 8-ohms)and my Alembic F1X pre-amp. I had to drive the front and back end of the amp a little more than usual, probably because of the sensitivity being 97. But the more I turned it up, the better it sounded. I was kind of hesitant because I didn't want to blow those little 8" speakers out of the cab and be left with nothing, but this little guy just kept giving. It has awsome lows and very sweet mids and highs. The specs say that it is 60 lbs. If that's so, it is the lightest 60 lb cab I've owned. I had a fellow bassist sit in for a few songs. When I went out to the audience I discovered that the cab (battling two guitarists, 1 drummer and 3 singers) was too loud! At $189.00, what's not to like? I've been playing bass for over 40 years and I...
Seismic makes great cabs for an amazing price!
Bought this cab a couple weeks ago, and it's amazing. Sound is crystal clear. The handles are really solid, and the cab itself is one of t he lightest I've seen. Definitely a good buy.
