Easy to Use Good Quality
This is a great easy to use product. When I opened the box, it only had two pieces: the Amplifier itself and the power cord -- I like that.
The item comes ready for 4 inputs (actually 5 if you count the iPod). The main input can take an XLR or phono input. Inputs 2&3 are phono jacks. Input 4 is R+L RCA for electronic gizmos. There is an optional switch for voice-over that will lower background music when you talk. Output is mono.
The sound quality is pretty good. Keep in mind that sound quality is a relative thing and I am comparing this product with similar products in the price range. This is a portable amplifier for quick setup and is good enough for small room wedding DJ etc. I put the mic pretty close to the speaker and did not get squeal; they must have some circuitry to prevent feedback. I was a little bit disappointed with the maximum volume and I did expect a little bit more for the 80 watts they claim.
