Great on Bass Guitar
A friend and I cobbled together an old Kustom 4x12 he had in the shed. It took me a little doing to get the ports set up right, but this has to be the best tone I've ever had. Run full range, 15" speakers have always sounded nasal and honky, 10's have no tone at all, 18's sound awesome but not very versatile. I've always had a thing for the balanced sound of a 12" speaker, and now I have four...and 1,000 watts to drive them.
