With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Specifications misleading
Pyle boasts this amplifier as having "1100 watts X 2 channels" or total power of 2200 watts. If you read the user manual (the only place I could find detailed specifications not in any advertisement)as they do with most of their products. The true rms output of this amplifier is 130 watts @ 4 ohms and 100 watts @ 8 ohms. The advertised output of 1100 watts is misleading and deceptive in my opinion. I am very disappointed in the very poor output level from this amplifier. I also had trouble with the rack mounting holes being about 1/16 inch too close together and had to angle and almost crossthread the screws to install it. The fan is much noisier than my Behringer ep2500 amp (which by the way is advertised as 2400 watts and has an 8 ohm rms power output of 350 watts)I just don't understand where Pyle gets it's "2200" watt rating from this amp. Anyone need a cheap boat anchor?

Horrid!
DO NOT buy this.

This amp puts out no where near 2200 watts of power. I bought this amp to power a sub rated at 500 watt rms. I knew that Pyle amps never produce as much as they say they do but I figured if they are advertising this to have 2200 watt max power that it would put out at least 1000 watts... That was not the case. I had this amp bridged to my sub and turned the power knob not past 1/5 past the circumference of the dial and it started to clip - heard almost no bass from the 500rms sub. Could not be more furious, especially after paying $110 for this piece of junk.
Not worth it
Tried various combinations of speaker hook ups to get the best power out of this amp and so far I was not successful. My Pioneer SX-626 has more power than this amp at 100 watts per channel.

DON'T BE SCAMMED LOOK FOR WATTS RMS NOT WATTS PEAK!!

off the top of my head, I remember reading on the specs page:

stereo:
70 watts at 8 ohms
100 watts at 4 ohms

bridged:
170 watts at 8 ohms
200 watts at 4 ohms

I would NOT recommend this for DJing (I tried). It really should be used for basic PA system (within reason).

Pros
It looks good
Will make a good boat anchor

Cons
It it not powerful enough for me.

**2 years later update**

The channel 1 pot gave out on me. Changed it out and swapped out the power LED. Still not worth the money. Dont buy it.
