ION Center Stage
I'm vary pleased with this product. I bought it for two uses. Public speaking outdoors and enjoying my mp3 player at family outings also outdoors. My only regret is I wish they were louder. 50 watts is great for indoor venues. But, for the outdoors, it could be louder. All and all, I'm vary happy. The speaker set is sufficient.

Ion center stage speaker system review-part 1 ((part 2 to follow late December))
I purchased this system after searching for a sound system for my daughter's 16th birthday party..I also researched renting a sound system and the cost was close to the purchase price with the bonus of continued use..the system comes with 2 speakers, stands 4 the speakers (raising their height around 5 feet) a mic an ipod holder that attaches to the side of the main speaker. Included are connecting cords from main speaker to mic (approx 6ft long), main speaker to ipod (approx 1ft long) and speaker to speaker (approx 15ft long).. The connector to the ipod seems a lil short but i'll sure there are extension connectors to puchase. All connections run on the back of the main speaker...there are three separate volume controls, for the mic, ipod, and master volume. They are 50w (8in approx) speakers, with alot of sound too look as small as they do. The overall sound is very good. I tested the system in my home near max volume and could hear clearly through out my home (1,000 sq ft home) as...
Better Than Expected
This inexpensive sound amplification system was purchased to provide sound amplification at a mountain lodge where toasts and speeches were to be made to over a hundred people at a rehearsal dinner. It out performed our expectations and went on to provide the sound system the next day at the wedding reception. Again, a home run !!!
