Monster DJ Cable
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

These cables are well built and reasonably priced. The contacts are gold plated and the shield parts are all metal, which is not true of some even more expensive cables. I don't know if they use oxygen-free copper and/or silver solder; there's no information on that. The package they came in highlights their use in DJ setup and focuses on their durability. I used them to connect my CD player to my amp, so I was looking for signal quality, not durability.
Now, I have the ability to hook my CD player up to my amp with BOTH xlr and RCA plugs. And, there is a little switch in the back of the amp that I can flip to listen through one cable or the other, and I can flip that switch while the music is playing. I hooked it up with these cables in the xlr ports and the cheapest comes-with RCA cables I could find in the RCA jacks. (I did use a cable with gold plated plugs, though, because I didn't want to scratch the gold off of my RCA jacks.)

Worth the money!
Cables are strong, well constructed and will last for a long time! I will def be using more monster cables in the future!
