You Have to Experience It to Believe It
I'm a drummer in a working band that's been running a borrowed Mackie SRS1500 15" 600 watt powered sub. I decided we needed our own sub, but I wanted to maintain the punch the Mackie sub provided, so I all but ruled out 18" subs. I also didn't want to be limited by a proprietary inboard amp so I started researching 15" passive subs. I was dismayed at the limited selection of passive 15"s on the market, and how expensive the available few are. Since Carvin is one of the few that make passive 15" subs, and I've always had good luck with Carvin, I set my sights on their 15". I found conflicting specs on different parts of their site, and called Carvin to get clarification before pulling the trigger. Not only was I given even more conflicting information, I was disappointed to hear that their lo-pass filter cuts off a bit high for my taste at 150hz, while I prefer something closer to 100Hz.

Big Clean Lows
We purchased an Enforcer II 18" subwoofer back in September, 2010 for use in small venues. Our genre is classic soul and Caroina Beach Music, so big phat clean lows are a top priority.
Seismic Audio sure delivers on this subwoofer! The Price was amazing and the sound quality superb!!! Clean lows; no rattle or vibrations. You can really feel the music. This cabinet is compact and manageable with quick setup. Shipping time was warp speed. Seismic Audio Rocks!!! A+++

Chest Thumping Bass
These really do have the "Chest Thumping" bass that is advertised. We have bought two of these cabs for our band and we are amazed at how loud and clear they are. We drive them pretty hard and they have held up beautifully. If you are looking for some hard hitting inexpensive subs, these are it.
