Great Mains but also poorly packaged for shipment
These are great performers for any venue. Nice tight, solid sound reproduction. I would rate these units at five stars were it not for the flimsy Seismic Audio supplied shipping cartons and packing materials. I specifically ordered this model because seven-ply birch plywood cabinets are employed and I correctly feared potential shipping damage. Fortunately, the internal item was only cosmetically damaged at it's front edge. Although Seismic Audio reinforces the already metal reinforced cabinet's corners with small several-layer-thick cardboard pieces, they overlooked the vulnerable vertical front cabinet edges. The cardboard reinforcements should run the entire height of this vertical edge to be of any practical advantage.
I'm pleased that I was not lured into purchasing the prolific & less expensive M.D.F. (Medium Density Fiberboard - aka. sawdust particle board) cabinets which many other vendors offer. I have seen photographs of such cabinets affected by handling mishaps...
