Solid subwoofer/ So far
I bought 2 of these and are powering them with the Pyle Pro 3100 series amp. I have to tell you that I'm pretty impressed with my two subs. They really kick, for a great price. The construction of the product is not great, by no means...I had to take off the grill to remove 4 fasteners that were left in the box post production. I also vacuumed the insides to clean up the small wood particles. For the money, you can't beat it. I DJ'd a 5k Race in the open and you could feel the kick from two of these, as long as you stack them side by side, as suggested by most professional mobile dj's. The runners came by and asked what radio station I worked for...lol (Amazing sound) I also use two MACKIE Thump 15A powered mains.FYI
I plan on getting 2 more SUBS in the future. Good boom for the buck. Just give it enough juice! The Pyle 3100 gives it a great punch at 3/4 the way on the channel AND 3/4 master. Hope this helps.

18"PA/DJ subwoofer
I also just bought two of these sub woofers and I would agree with the last review they are really a great sub for the money. I would highly recommend these sub woofers to anyone in any kind of gig I also have them hooked up to a Pyle Pro 3100 watt amplifier and they really thump. The only thing that I did is added plastic corners all the way around to both subs and I re glued the air ports because they seemed to come loose from the shipping motion. Oh and I also re installed metal pole mounts which you can order on line from Amazon because I had one brake from an outside gig with the wind blowing my top speakers. Thanks,Ken.
18" subs
The enclosure of the woofer was damaged, silicone all around the woofer. Would be perfect if better quality wood and screen.
