very happy with the sound
all said and done they've got kick. Sound: i think the titanium comression driver gives it really clear highs. The wooffer's got punch especially for an 8".
All the jacks are solid, and the faders are smooth. Bargain price if this is something you're looking for.

Broke after a day
When I first opened the box the unit looked great. When I turned it on it developed a mid-range hum. The second time, after about an hour of use, the speaker only makes a horrifically loud crunching buzz. Prior to this malfunction the unit was working quite well, with great sound quality. I am contacting Pyle about the problem, hopefully it was just a bad unit. However, I have emailed them twice about the mid-range hum and yet to have a response.
